YVR Duty-Free
To showcase Dufry’s vast selection of luxury brands, we leveraged targeted paid advertising on the RED social media app. This is a very successful initiative, particularly during key shopping holidays such as the Lunar New Year.
LAT developed a cultural readiness program for Destination British Columbia to help its travel partners welcome and understand the needs and preferences of Chinese visitors.
LAT has been working with Vancouver International Airport since 2016 to manage their Chinese social media presence on WeChat and Weibo.
LAT was contracted by the Huu-ay-aht First Nation to translate and adapt the short film, “Ancient Spirit, Modern Mind” into nine different languages.
LAT designed the Chinese language site TravelCanada.cn to help promote Canadian restaurants, shops and attractions to Chinese locals and visitors.
Hawaiian Airlines
To reach their wide and diverse audiences in China, Korea, Japan and France, Hawaiian Airlines needs to ensure that their content is culturally adapted to appeal to each reader.
We collaborated with DDB Canada to translate and localize content for the CTC’s Keep Exploring and 35 Million Directors campaigns. Our work ensured the CTC could reach their multilingual markets.
After making an in-kind donation of English to French translation services to the Vancouver Bid Team, we became the official translations provider for VANOC until the Vancouver 2010 Olympics began.
Our team collaborated with Hoi Moon Marketing to create a multilingual Virtual Exhibition celebrating the 75th anniversary of the Golden Gate Bridge. This exhibition is now available in nine languages.
