Reaching Diverse Communities Across Quebec

The Challenge
Breast cancer screening is one of the most effective tools for early detection, yet participation remains lower among some ethnocultural communities in Quebec due to language barriers, cultural differences, and limited access to relevant information. To encourage more women to take action, the campaign needed to deliver public health messaging in a way that felt clear, accessible, and culturally meaningful.
Our Approach
LAT Multilingual developed a multilingual, culturally adapted outreach strategy to help the campaign connect with women in Arabic, Spanish, Creole, and Chinese communities across Quebec.
The campaign combined print materials, digital display ads, digital out-of-home (DOOH) placements, and WeChat outreach to reach audiences through the channels they use most.
The Results
The campaign generated 2.3 million+ impressions, 3,126 clicks, and strong audience engagement across multiple language groups. On WeChat alone, the Chinese-language article received 3,305 reads, 138 shares, and strong engagement among women in the campaign’s target age groups.
The Impact
This campaign demonstrated that culturally relevant, multilingual communications can significantly improve the reach and effectiveness of public health messaging. By aligning language, media strategy, and community context, LAT helped make breast cancer screening awareness more inclusive and accessible across Quebec.
